Position Overview
1st Choice Hurricane Protection is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Professional to join our growing team.
This role is responsible for generating new residential and commercial business through field prospecting, relationship-building, and product demonstrations. The ideal candidate enjoys working in the field, developing client relationships, and guiding customers through customized hurricane protection solutions.
This position offers an opportunity to work with a respected company in a growing industry focused on protecting homes and businesses throughout Southwest Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within assigned territory
- Perform field prospecting and cold outreach to generate new business
- Meet with homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients to understand project needs
- Present product options and recommend appropriate hurricane protection solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and consultations
- Manage leads and opportunities from initial contact through closing
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients
- Meet or exceed established sales goals
- Communicate effectively with management and internal teams to ensure project success
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience
- Proven ability to generate leads and close sales
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and manage a sales pipeline independently
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a field-based sales environment
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, home improvement, or exterior products
- Familiarity with hurricane protection systems or similar building products
- Experience working with residential and commercial customers
